If I Had One Wish, Then It Would Be...

A Happy, Happy Birthday to You, from Me! Okay, so this post is a little late, but I still wanted to thank all my wonderful friends for helping me to have a such a great birthday week! Here's the play-by-play, day-by-day:
Monday
Pedicures and shopping in Sacramento, CA, plus a great dessert cookbook from AmyAnn
Tuesday
Back in Seattle...
At work, Tara made oatmeal raisin and oatmeal chocolate chip cookies for the 3 of us that have birthdays on 9/1 and 9/2
After leaving work early, I had dinner at Silver Spoon (my favorite Thai restaurant - I love their yellow curry with pineapple!) with Katie, and Katie watched me open my birthday presents from my parents - the Lunch is Ready cookbook and a book about the temple. Then, I decided to go to institute, where my friend Jen, found out I had not had any cake yet, so she went home and made me a cake after institute! It was delicious, and we also had my favorite ice cream - rocky road! Yumm...
I'm blowing out the cool star-shaped candles...I don't really know why I opened my eyes so wide.
Wednesday
Jeff took me to the Cheesecake Factory, and I tried the Louisiana Chicken Pasta, and it was so good...I wouldn't usually try some thing that has the word spicy in the description of the sauce, but it was delicious-especially the parmesan-crusted chicken on top! Of course, we also had cheesecake - I tried the chocolate raspberry truffle. It was good, but a little too rich for me-I couldn't finish it:)
Thursday
No celebrations, but I finished the cheesecake leftovers.:)
Friday
Birthday party with Cindy, Tim, Esther, Jeff, Lindsey, Brigham - We got bubble tea at Westlake Center (I tried honeydew with 1/2 tapioca in the bottom), then we went to an improv comedy show that was hilarious!! They acted out an entire disaster movie in Wal-Mart...it was pretty good :)
Jeff and me, with my birthday crown
Also, I received several birthday cards and birthday wishes on Facebook. Thank you so much to all my friends!! What a wonderful week!
