Good times on the water....

9/3 - Canoeing (is that a word?) on Lake Washington
We were like Lewis and Clark..... spotting wildlife and rowing under the bridge, through the lily pads....We found a teepee, rowed between boats and saw the bridge open up from the water!

8/25 - Leavenworth - visiting Washington's Bavaria & floating down the river
This weekend, we drove to Leavenworth float down the river, but on the way, we decided to stop at the reptile zoo! It was super cool - two-headed turtle, albino alligator, goliath birdeater tarantula, albino python and so much more! We arrived just in time to see a boa constrictor eat a rabbit! Here's all of us holding an albino python!!!

We drove to Leavenworth and ate lunch there..... then went floating down the river! It was absolutely perfect weather - sunny and warm on the river, even though it was overcast in Seattle!

Then, yodel-lay-he-hoooo!!! Back to Leavenworth for bratwurst!! What a great Saturday! (This is me with Tom and Chris)
