Parents in Washington...

Yes, August seems to be the month of wonderful people coming to visit me! They flew in on Wednesday, August 15 and were here through Friday, August 24. I had to work a little bit while they were here, but it was still so great to see them and spend so much time together! We did so many fun things, and I got my parents addicted to The Cheesecake Factory - we tried 4 different kinds while they were here - my favorite: Adam's Peanut Butter Cup Fudge Ripple...mmmmm...
Other fun events:
Thursday: Victoria Clipper to Victoria and seeing the Butchart Gardens,

Friday: Going to the temple together and Snoqualmie Falls,Saturday: Seeing all kinds of planes at the Museum of Flight - my dad loved this place! It was really fun to watch him have so much fun - he could have stayed there for days... :)
Monday: EMP (for the Disney Music Exhibit - pretty cool - it's amazing how many memories that music brings back for both me and my parents!) and the Pacific Science Center - my parents sat down in front of this statue of huge scorpion - why not take a picture! They also had a tropical butterfly room where you can walk among a bunch of butterflies flying around! And, we had Thai food with Katie and Randy that night - I found out that I have a pretty good Thai restaurant right across the street from my new place!Wednesday: Argosy Harbor Cruise (that's the space needle, just to the left of my mom's head) and the Seattle Aquarium (that's a jellyfish in the picture - they had this clear arch that you could walk under and watch the jellyfish swim up on and over you-very cool)

Thursday: Anacortes ferry and Deception Pass Bridge
