As always here in Seattle, the annual Sweet Meet was on the Friday before Valentine's Day. This year, it was the girls' turn to make the treats, and I had a busy week, so I didn't have time to make anything....I mentioned this one of my good friends, and next thing I know, she's offering to make me a cake, and asks for a theme. I chose basketball....I think she did a great job! Not only is it basketball themed - but underneath the homemade frosting, was an absolutely delicious made-from-scratch chocolate cake!!
02.13.10 - Flowers for Valentine's!
I think I'm making this an annual tradition - buying myself flowers for Valentine's (don't worry, if anyone offers to buy me flowers, I won't turn them down). Really, I just like having an excuse to buy flowers, and I wanted to fill the vases I made last fall!
Well, I didn't have time to make a Valentine's - themed treat for the Sweet Meet on Friday, but I found this cute idea in one of my cookbooks. So, I made these cupcakes for our ward munch and mingle on Sunday.
I hope everyone had a great Valentine's!!

Oooo, you should not be showing those yummy treats to a pregnant lady. Looks like fun and I love the flowers in your vases!
You know...I know EXACTLY what you should add to those cupcakes to really liven up a Munch and Mingle...
