This weekend was great - it was the weekend of the 179th Annual General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We get to listen to the leaders of our church give us counsel for living the gospel. Here are some of the highlights of the weekend:
- Bishop's house for awesome BBQ and watching conference on Saturday
- Taking an investigator to the stake center for conference on Sunday and answering her questions about the church
- Themes that stood out: Dealing with Adversity, Temple Attendance
- Talks that I plan to re-read first: Elder Pearson's talk on faith, Elder Oaks' talk on service, Elder Scott's talk on temple attendance
