Junuary (this is not a typo)

Jun.u.ar.y [joon-yoo-er-ee] noun: the name given to the month of June by Washingtonians when the weather looks & feels like winter instead of summer
50 degrees in June?? Yes, this past week, we didn't get above 60 degrees! I miss seeing and feeling the sun, but I've found a bright side to having fall-like weather during any month of the year. Here are some things I can now enjoy year-round, which used to be limited to the fall and winter months:
  • Sweaters
  • Thick socks
  • Flannel pajama pants
  • Blankets
  • Chili
  • Soup
  • Hot chocolate
  • Hot apple cider
  • Christmas music

Wow, what I would give to have 50 degree weather right now. Grass is always greener, right? Well, tough it out. At least there's chocolate involved, hot or cold! =)

LOL - I should have read this sooner! :) We've been calling it Junuary too. And yes, I have been having hot chocolate and humming Christmas tunes. How funny! The sun is out today - I hope you can enjoy it ('cause it's supposed to be cold again tomorrow). I love your list of reasons to enjoy the cold - I'll have to keep those in mind. Here's to hoping for no July-uary too!
